PLANET IGTP-80xT Industrial Gigabit Media Converter combines Ethernet media conversion (from 1000BASE-X to 10/100/1000BASE-T) with 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) injector to deliver both up to 30 watts of power output and high data transmission speed to PDs (powered devices) installed in a remote area where sufficient and reliable power input is required. Its 1000BASE-X fiber optic uplink port provides long distance, high speed and stable data transmission to a remote core network. Fiber-optic Link Capability Extends the Range of Network Deployment:

PLANET VC-231 ist ein Ethernet-over-VDSL2-Konverter mit hoher Leistung. Er wurde auf der Grundlage von zwei zentralen Netzwerktechnologien entwickelt: Ethernet und VDSL2 (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line 2). Die VDSL2-Technologie bietet die absolut schnellste Datenübertragungsgeschwindigkeit über bestehende Kupfertelefonleitungen, ohne dass eine Neuverkabelung erforderlich ist. Der VC-231 unterstützt Ultra-High-Performance für das flächendeckende Telefonleitungsnetz mit bis zu 100/100Mbps symmetrischer Datenrate innerhalb von 300m und 50/2Mbps für 1,4km lange Verbindungen.
Implementierung mit bestehenden Telefon-Kupferdrähten
Der VC-231 ist auch ein Long Reach Ethernet (LRE) Konverter mit einem RJ-45 Ethernet Port und einer RJ-11 Telefonbuchse, die für VDSL2 Verbindungen geeignet ist. Mit dem zusätzlichen Splitter aus dem VC-231-Paket kann der Splitter einen POTS-Splitter bereitstellen, um die vorhandene Telefonleitung mit POTS zu teilen; daher ist es nicht notwendig, die vorhandene Kupferleitung zu ersetzen. Stecken Sie den VC-231 mit zusätzlichem Splitter einfach in die vorhandene RJ-11-Telefonbuchse und schon kann ein leistungsstarkes VDSL2-Netz angeschlossen werden. Der VC-231 ist ideal als Ethernet-Extender für ein bestehendes Ethernet-Netzwerk geeignet.

Der VC-231 bietet eine exzellente Bandbreite, um Triple-Play-Geräte für Home Entertainment und Kommunikation zu bedienen. Mit der Fähigkeit zur symmetrischen Datenübertragung von 100/100Mbps ermöglicht der VC-231 die Nutzung vieler Multimedia-Dienste über das lokale Internet, wie z.B. VOD (Video on Demand), Voice over IP, Videotelefonie, IPTV, Internet-Caching-Server, Fernunterricht und so weiter.
Einfache und flexible Installation
Der Ethernet-over-VDSL2-Konverter verfügt über ein Plug-and-Play-Design und ist vollständig kompatibel mit allen Arten von Netzwerkprotokollen. Darüber hinaus kann der Betriebsstatus jedes einzelnen Ports und des gesamten Systems über die zahlreichen Diagnose-LEDs an der Vorderseite überwacht werden. Der VC-231 bietet zwei Betriebsarten, CPE und CO, für die Anwendung: Der CPE-Modus wird auf der Client-Seite verwendet und der CO-Modus auf der zentralen Seite. Der CPE- oder CO-Modus kann mit Hilfe eines eingebauten DIP-Schalters eingestellt werden. Für Punkt-zu-Punkt-Verbindungen müssen ein VC-231 im CPE-Modus und ein VC-231 im CO-Modus als ein Wandlerpaar eingerichtet werden, um die Verbindung herzustellen.
Hervorragende Upstream- und Downstream-Übertragungsleistung
Der VC-231 definiert auch einen symmetrischen Bandplan für die Übertragung von Upstream- und Downstream-Signalen, der im symmetrischen Modus eine höhere Übertragungsqualität im Nahbereich für die zentrale Seite (CO) bietet. Wenn der VC-231 im Profil 17a betrieben wird, bietet er Langstreckenübertragung mit Ultra-High-Performance für das weitverzweigte Telefonnetz, und wenn der VC-231 im 30a-Betriebsmodus betrieben wird, bietet er Kurzstreckenübertragung mit Upstream- und Downstream-Übertragung mit Wire Speed Performance.
