VIGI 5-inch 4MP 25X Full-Color Network Speed Dome
The TP-Link VIGI InSight PTZ5425 is a professional 5-inch 4 MP network speed dome camera designed for wide-area surveillance and detailed long-distance monitoring. Its 1/2.9" progressive scan CMOS sensor provides a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels. The motorized 5.2–130 mm varifocal lens delivers 25× optical zoom, with a horizontal field of view ranging from 57.06° at wide angle to 2.30° at telephoto.
The PTZ mechanism provides continuous 0° to 360° panning and a tilt range from -23.6° to 97.8°. Configurable pan speed reaches 160°/s, while preset positioning supports speeds of up to 240°/s. The camera provides 300 presets, eight patrol routes with up to eight presets each, and 32 pattern paths. Additional functions such as 3D Positioning, Power-off Memory, Park Action, and Scheduled Tasks support reliable professional operation.
For day and night monitoring, the PTZ5425 incorporates two IR LEDs with an illumination range of up to 100 m and two combined infrared/white-light LEDs providing white-light coverage up to 50 m. Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, 3D Digital Noise Reduction, HLC, BLC, SmartIR, electronic image stabilization, and Digital Defog. A built-in lens heater further supports operation under challenging environmental conditions.
Smart surveillance functions include human and vehicle classification, intrusion detection, line crossing detection, loitering detection, region entering/exiting detection, and intelligent automatic tracking. Red and blue warning lights and an integrated speaker provide active deterrence capabilities. Two-way audio is supported through the built-in microphone and speaker as well as dedicated audio input and output interfaces. The camera also provides two alarm inputs, one alarm output, and an RS-485 interface.
Video compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264, while a built-in microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB. Network connectivity is provided through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 interface with IEEE 802.3at PoE+, with 12 V DC available as an alternative power source. ONVIF Profile G/S/T support facilitates integration with compatible video management platforms. The rugged metal enclosure is rated IP66 for weather protection, IK08 for vandal resistance, and includes 6 kV lightning protection. The specified operating temperature range is -30 °C to +65 °C.
