With the official groundbreaking ceremony on 16 October 2026, we marked the beginning of construction for our new Networking Technology Competence Center in Preding near Weiz. Together with our employees, families, friends, the mayor, and the project partners involved, we celebrated this important milestone for the future of TRIOTRONIK.
A Deliberate Investment in the Future
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of a project that extends far beyond the construction of a new building. With the new Networking Technology Competence Center, we are making a targeted investment in our location in Preding near Weiz and creating the foundation for the next phase of TRIOTRONIK's development.
Our goal is not only to expand our capacities, but also to create the conditions required to further strengthen our expertise, bring new ideas to life, and remain a reliable partner for our customers and business partners in the years to come.
Space for Growth
With our new Networking Technology Competence Center, we are creating the physical foundation for the next stage of TRIOTRONIK's growth. The facility will significantly expand our warehouse capacity, provide additional office space, offer modern training facilities for the TRIOTRONIK Academy, and create dedicated areas for future manufacturing activities. At the same time, it will provide more space for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
For us, the new building is far more than an expansion of our premises. It creates the conditions to further develop our company in the long term and ensure we are well prepared for future opportunities and challenges.
Made in Austria as a Long-Term Vision
One area is particularly important to us: manufacturing.
With the new facility, we are creating the conditions to manufacture selected fibre optic products, structured cabling components, and customised assemblies in Austria in the future. We firmly believe that regional manufacturing, high quality standards, and short supply chains offer significant value for many customers. Our goal is therefore to establish the foundation for gradually expanding these capabilities over the coming years. This is a long-term vision, and the new Competence Center is an important step towards making it a reality.

A project of this scale is not created by plans, machines, or buildings alone. It is driven by people who contribute ideas, take responsibility, and work together towards a shared vision. For us, the groundbreaking ceremony therefore marks not only the beginning of the construction phase, but also the start of a new chapter in the development of TRIOTRONIK.
