10/100Mbps WDM Media Converter with 1-Port PoE
The TP-Link Omada FC111PB-20 is a 10/100 Mbps WDM media converter with integrated 802.3af PoE output. It converts electrical Ethernet signals from a 10/100 Mbps PoE RJ45 port into optical signals via a 100 Mbps SC fibre port. The RJ45 port supports Auto MDI/MDIX, while the media converter is designed for 100BASE-TX connections over Cat.5 or higher cabling up to 100 m and 100BASE-FX over single-mode fibre.
Using WDM technology, the FC111PB-20 transmits data over a single 9/125 µm single-mode fibre with a range of up to 20 km. This model transmits at 1310 nm and receives at 1550 nm. Operation requires a counterpart with reversed wavelength assignment, such as the FC111A-20. The PoE output supports IEEE 802.3af with up to 15.4 W, simplifying the deployment of remote PoE endpoints without requiring a separate power supply at the installation point.
The compact enclosure measures 94.5 × 73 × 27 mm and is suitable for standalone installation or use with a compatible media converter rack. Power is supplied by an external 48 V / 0.5 A adapter. Power, Link/Act and PoE LEDs support quick status checks during installation and maintenance. The specified operating temperature range is 0 to 50 °C.

The TP-Link Omada FC111PB-20 is designed for simple fibre extensions with integrated PoE power delivery in 100 Mbps networks. Typical applications include IP surveillance, remote camera locations, building-to-building links, park and campus installations, and point-to-point connections over single-mode fibre. With its integrated IEEE 802.3af PoE output, a compatible endpoint such as an IP camera can be supplied with both data and power directly via the RJ45 port.
Thanks to WDM technology, transmitting and receiving are handled over a single 9/125 µm single-mode fibre. This reduces fibre requirements compared with conventional duplex fibre links. The FC111PB-20 is used with a matching counterpart using complementary wavelengths, such as the FC111A-20, making it suitable for system integrators, electrical installers, security installers and IT service providers.
