VIGI 8MP Outdoor IR Panoramic Bullet Network Camera
The TP-Link VIGI InSight S385PI is a professional 8 MP outdoor panoramic bullet network camera designed for wide-area surveillance. Its 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. The fixed 1.65 mm F2.0 lens provides a 180° horizontal and diagonal field of view together with an 86° vertical viewing angle, allowing extensive scenes to be monitored from a single camera position.
Four integrated 850 nm IR LEDs provide a specified night vision range of up to 20 m. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.005 lux, or 0 lux with infrared illumination enabled. Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, BLC, HLC, Smart IR, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction. At 60 Hz, the camera supports up to 30 fps at full 4K resolution. Main-stream video compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264.
For intelligent security applications, the InSight S385PI supports human and vehicle classification together with an extensive range of smart detection functions. These include intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entering and exiting detection, loitering detection, abandoned object detection, and object removal detection. Abnormal sound detection, scene change detection, and video tampering detection are also supported. Events can trigger local recording, push notifications, email alarms, FTP uploads, and active audible or visual alerts.
Active deterrence is provided through integrated red-blue warning lights and a built-in speaker. Two-way audio is supported through the integrated microphone and speaker, while dedicated audio input/output and one alarm input/output provide additional integration options. The built-in microphone is specified to capture audio within a radius of up to 5 m. An integrated microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB, while ONVIF Profile S/T/G compatibility facilitates integration with compatible video management platforms.
Network connectivity is provided through a self-adaptive 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface. Power can be supplied via IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or alternatively through 12 V DC. The rugged metal enclosure is rated IP67 for weather protection and IK10 for vandal resistance, with a specified operating temperature range from -30 °C to +60 °C.
