VIGI 5MP IR Fisheye Network Camera
The TP-Link VIGI InSight S655I is a professional 5 MP IR fisheye network camera engineered for comprehensive wide-area surveillance. Its 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1920 pixels. The fixed 1.44 mm F2.0 fisheye lens provides a 180° horizontal, vertical, and diagonal field of view, enabling full 360° scene coverage when installed in an appropriate position.
A wide selection of display modes provides flexible visualization of the fisheye image. Ceiling-mounted installations support fisheye, 180° panorama, 360° panorama, cylinder, and multiple virtual PTZ layouts including 2PTZ, 4PTZ, and Fisheye + 8PTZ. This allows a single fisheye image to be presented as multiple virtual camera views. Electronic PTZ functionality enables operators to select and enlarge areas of interest without requiring mechanically moving camera components.
Four integrated 850 nm IR LEDs provide a specified night vision range of up to 30 m. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.01 lux, or 0 lux with infrared illumination enabled. Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, BLC, HLC, Smart IR, 3D DNR, and white balance. At 60 Hz, the camera supports up to 30 fps at maximum resolution; according to VIGI, enabling WDR limits the maximum frame rate to 15 fps.
Smart event functions include intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entering detection, region exiting detection, and abnormal sound detection. Motion detection and video tampering detection are also supported. Event linkage options include local memory card recording, push notifications, email alarms, FTP snapshot uploads, and audible warnings.
A built-in microphone with a specified capture radius of up to 5 m and an integrated speaker provide two-way audio communication. Video compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264, while the built-in microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB. ONVIF Profile S/T/G compatibility facilitates integration with compatible video management and surveillance platforms.
Network connectivity is provided through a self-adaptive 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface. Power can be supplied via IEEE 802.3af/at PoE or alternatively through 12 V DC. The rugged metal enclosure is rated IP67 for weather protection and IK10 for vandal resistance, with a specified operating temperature range from -30 °C to +60 °C.
