VIGI 4MP Outdoor License Plate Recognition Bullet Network Camera
The TP-Link VIGI InSight LPR345Z is a professional 4 MP bullet network camera with integrated license plate recognition for controlled vehicle entrances and exits. Its 1/2.9" progressive scan CMOS sensor provides a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels. A motorized 2.7–13.5 mm varifocal lens with 5× optical zoom allows precise adjustment of the monitored area. Four integrated white LEDs enable full-color monitoring in darkness, with specified minimum illumination down to 0 lux when the white light is active.
Integrated ANPR technology detects vehicle license plates and can overlay information including capture time, plate number, and vehicle permission status on captured images. The camera supports a combined total of up to 100,000 allowlist and blocklist entries, with microSD storage recommended for larger databases. For automated access control, a dedicated relay output can directly trigger compatible barrier gates, while recognition events can be initiated through video detection or an external I/O trigger.
Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, 3D Digital Noise Reduction, BLC, and configurable image parameters. Video compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264. In addition to the built-in microphone, the camera provides audio input/output, alarm input/output, and an RS-485 interface. A built-in microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB. Network connectivity is provided through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 interface with IEEE 802.3af PoE, with 12 V DC available as an alternative power option.
The rugged metal housing is IP67 rated for outdoor weather protection and IK10 rated for vandal resistance. ONVIF Profile G/S/T support facilitates integration with compatible video management platforms. Combining high-resolution surveillance, license plate recognition, and barrier gate control in a single device, the InSight LPR345Z provides a comprehensive solution for professional vehicle access and security installations.

The TP-Link VIGI InSight LPR345Z is designed for professional vehicle access control and surveillance applications where license plates need to be captured and automatically recognized. Typical deployments include company entrances, parking facilities, car parks, gated premises, and other controlled vehicle entry and exit points. Integrated ANPR functionality supports allowlist, blocklist, and temporary vehicle permissions, while the built-in relay output can directly control compatible barrier gates. VIGI recommends a recognition range of approximately 3 to 6 meters, with maximum recognition distances of up to 15 meters depending on the selected zoom position.
The motorized varifocal lens with 5× optical zoom allows installers to adapt the field of view to different mounting positions and lane layouts. An IP67 weatherproof rating, IK10 vandal resistance, and a specified operating temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C support demanding outdoor deployments. PoE, alarm I/O, RS-485 connectivity, and local microSD storage make the camera particularly suitable for security integrators, professional installers, and operators of advanced surveillance and vehicle access systems.
