VIGI 4MP IR Motorized Varifocal Turret Network Camera
The TP-Link VIGI InSight S445ZI is a professional 4 MP IR turret network camera equipped with a motorized varifocal lens. Its 1/2.9" progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels. The fast F1.6 lens provides a focal length range of 2.7–13.5 mm with 5× optical zoom. Its horizontal field of view can be adjusted from 102.0° at wide angle to 29.6° at telephoto. At 60 Hz, the camera supports frame rates of up to 30 fps at full 4 MP resolution.
Four integrated 850 nm IR LEDs provide a specified night vision range of up to 60 m. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.005 lux, or 0 lux when infrared illumination is enabled. Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range, BLC, HLC, Smart IR, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction. Main-stream video compression supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 for efficient bandwidth and storage utilization.
Intelligent event detection includes human and vehicle classification, intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entering and exiting detection, loitering detection, abandoned object detection, and object removal detection. Abnormal sound detection, scene change detection, and video tampering detection are also supported. Events can trigger local recording, push notifications, email alarms, FTP uploads, or connected alarm output devices.
For system integration, the camera includes a built-in microphone with a specified capture radius of up to 5 m as well as dedicated audio input and output interfaces. Two-way audio is supported; however, no speaker is integrated, so an external speaker is required when audio output is needed. One alarm input and one alarm output are also provided. The integrated microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB, while ONVIF Profile S/T/G compatibility facilitates integration with compatible video management platforms.
Network connectivity is provided through a self-adaptive 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface. Power can be supplied via IEEE 802.3af/at PoE or alternatively through 12 V DC. The rugged metal enclosure is rated IP67 for weather protection and IK10 for vandal resistance, with a specified operating temperature range from -30 °C to +60 °C. The InSight S445ZI therefore combines flexible optical adjustment, intelligent video analytics, and rugged construction for professional security deployments.
