UniFi Travel Router Long-Range
The Ubiquiti UniFi Travel Router Long-Range (UTR-LR) is a compact WiFi 5 router designed for mobile deployments, extending the UniFi Travel Router concept with an integrated foldable super antenna for increased wireless range. Dual-band WiFi with 2×2 MIMO supports 802.11ac data rates of up to 866.7 Mbps. Maximum transmit power is specified at 20 dBm on 2.4 GHz and 23 dBm on 5 GHz, while two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports provide additional wired connectivity.
WAN connectivity can be established via WiFi, Ethernet or USB tethering with compatible iOS and Android devices. Integrated OpenVPN and WireGuard VPN clients provide secure connectivity when working away from the primary network. A 1.14-inch status display provides useful information directly on the device. Power is supplied via USB-C at 5 V / 2 A, with the power adapter not included, and maximum power consumption is 5 W. Measuring only 96 × 65 × 19.5 mm and weighing 126 g, the UTR-LR is highly portable. It can also operate in standalone mode without requiring a UniFi Account, providing a flexible networking solution for frequently changing locations.
