The Ubiquiti Network Video Recorder G2, model UNVR-G2, is a high-performance 1U recording appliance designed for centrally managed UniFi Protect environments. Built-in AI event analytics assist with the efficient evaluation of surveillance footage, while four drive bays provide flexible storage configurations using 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch HDDs and SSDs. Network connectivity is provided through one 10G SFP+ interface and one 2.5 GbE RJ45 port.
The UNVR-G2 supports up to 30 cameras at 4K resolution or up to 60 Full HD cameras. When the integrated HDMI Viewport is used, the supported camera capacity is reduced depending on resolution. Data protection features and optional power redundancy through the UniFi SmartPower RPS help improve operational resilience. Its durable SGCC steel enclosure and standard 1U form factor make it suitable for professional installation in 19-inch network and server racks.
