The Ubiquiti Enterprise Firewall Core EF-Core is a high-performance enterprise cloud gateway and firewall platform for large-scale UniFi networks. With 100 Gbps gateway capability, up to 79 Gbps IDS/IPS throughput, support for 22,500+ simultaneous users and 2,250+ managed UniFi devices, it is built for demanding network environments with substantial traffic loads. Its extensive interface configuration, including 100G QSFP28, 25G SFP28 and 10 GbE RJ45 ports as well as dedicated management and console connectivity, enables flexible integration into modern core, campus and data centre architectures.
For security and network control, the EF-Core provides stateful firewalling, application-aware Layer 7 firewalling, SSL inspection, URL filtering, DPI, intrusion prevention and advanced filtering by regions, domains and applications. Multi-WAN load balancing, dynamic routing with OSPF and BGP, LACP, advanced QoS, policy-based WAN and VPN routing as well as integrated RADIUS functions support complex enterprise network designs. Shadow Mode (VRRP), dual hot-swappable 550W power supplies and a 1U rack-mount form factor provide high availability and professional deployment in rack-based infrastructure.
