UniFi 4MP (8K) Video G6 Edge Turret Camera, AI-Power Search, 2.36x Zoom
The Ubiquiti G6 Edge Turret (UVC-G6-Edge-Turret) is an all-weather 4K turret camera combining edge-based AI processing with local recording capabilities. Its large 1/1.2" 8 MP image sensor captures video at up to 3840 × 2160 pixels at 30 FPS. The motorized 5.85–13.8 mm lens, with an aperture range of ƒ/1.5 to ƒ/2.9, provides 2.36× optical zoom. Depending on the zoom position, the horizontal field of view ranges from 113.8° at the wide setting to 45.5° at telephoto.
Adaptive IR LEDs provide night vision at distances of up to 40 metres. Integrated AI capabilities include Smart Detections for people, vehicles and animals, together with face and license plate recognition. The Edge platform additionally provides integrated AI-powered search and supports standalone recording through its microSD expansion slot without requiring a dedicated UniFi Protect NVR. Two-way audio enables direct voice communication at the monitored location.
Network connectivity is provided through Gigabit Ethernet, with power supplied via PoE+. Maximum power consumption is 25 W. The aluminium alloy and polycarbonate enclosure is rated IP66 for weather protection and IK04 for tamper resistance, with an operating temperature range of -30 to +50 °C. The G6 Edge Turret therefore combines high-resolution imaging, optical zoom, edge AI and local storage in a robust platform for professional UniFi Protect deployments.
