UISP WaveFiber ONU
The Ubiquiti WaveFiber ONU is a compact GPON optical network unit for high-performance fibre subscriber connections. It supports nominal GPON line rates of 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream, with a physical fibre reach of up to 20 km. Its integrated 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 interface provides faster Ethernet handoff than conventional Gigabit-only ONUs.
The WaveFiber ONU supports bridging, routing, NAT, firewall functionality, VLANs, remote administration and GEM port encryption. Three front-panel LEDs provide an immediate indication of the received optical signal level. Power is supplied through 24V passive PoE, with a maximum consumption of 5 W. The compact polycarbonate enclosure supports both desktop and wall-mounted installation. According to the manufacturer, a PoE adapter is included only with single-unit purchases.
