UFiber Instant, compact GPN (GPE) w/ 1 Gbit SFP
The Ubiquiti Fiber Instant UF-Instant is a compact GPON CPE housed in an SFP form factor. It connects a passive GPON optical link through an SC/APC interface to a 1 Gbps SGMII Ethernet interface. The GPON connection supports up to 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream, with a physical reach of up to 20 km. Weighing only 30 g, the module is powered directly through the 3.3 V SFP interface and consumes a maximum of 2 W. Its zinc alloy and stainless-steel enclosure provides a durable solution for professional fibre access infrastructures.

The Ubiquiti UF-Instant is designed as a compact GPON subscriber terminal for FTTH and FTTB deployments, service-provider access networks, residential developments and business premises. The module installs directly into a compatible SFP port on a Ubiquiti networking device and operates in conjunction with a UFiber OLT. This allows the GPON customer-premises termination to be integrated into existing network hardware without requiring a separate desktop ONU. Configuration is performed through the UFiber OLT, while the module operates exclusively in bridge mode.
