LoRaWAN Sensor Tag, Monitor temperature, humidity, motion and events
The MikroTik TG-LR92 is a compact, configurable LoRaWAN sensor tag for professional IoT deployments. It combines high-accuracy temperature measurement, relative humidity sensing and accelerometer-based detection of movement, activity, tilt, orientation, impact and free fall. An integrated magnetic reed switch also enables monitoring of doors, lids and equipment cabinets.
Six independently configurable operating profiles and up to 32 custom data rules allow the device to adapt to different monitoring requirements. Sensor readings can be averaged or processed into histograms locally before transmission, helping to reduce LoRaWAN traffic while retaining meaningful environmental information. Its IP67-rated enclosure, tested operating temperature range from −10 °C to 70 °C and expected battery lifetime of up to five years make the TG-LR92 suitable for long-term deployment in demanding environments.

- 902–928 MHz version for corresponding regional LoRaWAN networks
- Additional globally applicable 2.4 GHz LoRa support
- Integrated temperature and relative humidity monitoring
- Motion, tilt, impact and free-fall detection
- Magnetic reed switch for doors, lids and enclosures
- Six configurable profiles with event-based rules
- Local averaging and histogram processing of sensor data
- Expected battery lifetime of up to five years
- IP67-rated enclosure for indoor and outdoor deployment
The MikroTik TG-LR92 is designed for wireless monitoring of environmental conditions, mobile assets and technical equipment over LoRaWAN. Typical applications include logistics and asset tracking, cold-chain monitoring, warehouses, industrial sites, building infrastructure and environmental research. It can detect temperature, humidity, movement, orientation changes, impacts, free-fall events and the opening of doors or equipment enclosures, transmitting relevant telemetry to a central monitoring platform.
Configuration is performed through LoRaWAN downlinks, with integration options for platforms such as The Things Network. The sensor is designed to operate with MikroTik LR9 gateways and also supports 2.4 GHz LoRa for assets moving between different regulatory regions. The TG-LR92 is the 902–928 MHz variant; the TG-LR82 is intended for European 863–870 MHz deployments. Applicable local radio-frequency regulations must be observed.
