The PLANET IGS-12040MT is an industrial L2+ managed Ethernet switch equipped with 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 2 100/1000BASE-X SFP ports and 2 additional 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP ports. Its rugged IP30 aluminium enclosure, DIN-rail and wall-mount installation options, and wide operating temperature range from -40 to +75 °C make it suitable for demanding industrial and space-limited installations. Redundant power input with 12 to 72 V DC or 24 V AC helps increase network availability in mission-critical applications.
With support for VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, QoS, IGMP/MLD snooping, ERPS ring protection, IPv4/IPv6 static routing and comprehensive security functions, the IGS-12040MT provides a robust platform for professional industrial and carrier Ethernet networks. Management is available via web interface, console, Telnet, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, SSHv2 and TLSv1.2. Additional functions such as SFP-DDM, SNMP trap, SMTP, syslog, DI/DO and Modbus TCP support simplify monitoring, diagnostics and integration into industrial automation environments.
