The PLANET IGS-5225-4T2S is a compact industrial L2+ managed Ethernet switch equipped with 4 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports and 2 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP slots. The SFP interfaces support SFP auto-detection and are also compatible with 100BASE-FX SFP modules. With an 18 Gbps non-blocking switching fabric, 13.39 Mpps throughput, 8K MAC address table and 9K jumbo frame support, the switch provides a powerful platform for industrial Gigabit and fibre connectivity.
The rugged IP30 metal enclosure supports DIN-rail and wall-mount installation and requires minimal cabinet space thanks to its slim form factor. Redundant power input via dual 12–48 V DC inputs or 24 V AC, reverse polarity protection, 6 kV DC Ethernet ESD protection and a -40 to +75 °C operating temperature range support reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. A relay output for power failure alarm simplifies integration with external monitoring systems.

IEEE 1588v2 PTP, Synchronous Ethernet and Modbus TCP support time-sensitive industrial, telecom and automation applications. Security and management features such as ACL, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, SFP-DDM, cable diagnostics, web, CLI, SNMP, SSHv2, TLSv1.2, SNMPv3, PLANET NMS and CloudViewer help simplify secure operation, diagnostics and centralized administration.
