Industrial 8-Port Gbit + 2-Port SFP Wall-mount managed
The PLANET WGS-4215-8T2S is an industrial L2/L4 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch equipped with 8 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 copper ports and 2 100/1000BASE-X mini-GBIC/SFP slots. Its compact IP30 metal enclosure is designed for installation in confined spaces such as wall enclosures or low-voltage electrical boxes. The switch supports fixed wall mounting, magnetic wall mounting and DIN-rail installation, while the front-access design simplifies cabling, LED monitoring and maintenance after installation.
With a 20 Gbps non-blocking switching fabric, 8K MAC address table and support for 9K jumbo frames, the WGS-4215-8T2S is built for reliable Gigabit data transmission in professional networks. The two SFP slots support SFP auto-detection and dual-speed operation with 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX transceivers, allowing fibre links via multimode, single-mode or WDM connections depending on the selected SFP module.
For demanding environments, the switch provides an operating temperature range from -40 to +75 °C, 6 kV DC Ethernet ESD protection and 6 kV DC EFT protection for the power line. Redundant power input via 12–48 V DC or 24 V AC terminal block, as well as 12–48 V DC jack input, supports high availability in industrial and building automation applications. Advanced features such as VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, ERPS, LLDP, QoS, IGMP/MLD snooping, ACL, 802.1X, DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, Dynamic ARP Inspection and secure management via SSHv2, TLSv1.2 and SNMPv3 help create stable, secure and easy-to-manage networks.

The PLANET WGS-4215-8T2S is designed for industrial Gigabit Ethernet networks, building and home automation, IoT applications, IP surveillance, wireless LAN infrastructures and FTTx/MAN deployments. Its eight Gigabit RJ45 ports provide local connectivity for controllers, cameras, access points, VoIP components and other Ethernet endpoints. The two 100/1000BASE-X SFP slots enable flexible fibre uplinks to backbone switches, control rooms, building distributors or remote network segments. Thanks to its slim wall-mount enclosure and front-access design, the switch is particularly suitable for wall enclosures, low-voltage cabinets, technical rooms and space-limited installations.
