Observe Laser Safety Precautions - Turn off equipment or disconnect cabling before handling or inspecting fibre optic connections.Always inspect connector end faces before connecting.Only clean connectors if contaminated - The process of cleaning can already clean connector may add contaminationNever clean connectors without inspecting after cleaning - This is especially true of adapter mounted connectors, also called bulkhead connections.If a connector is not clean, don´t connect it! - Continue to clean until no contamination is observed.Never reuse cleaning materials - Tissues, swabs and cleaning cassettes should only be used once, even on the same connectorNever join an un-inspected and possibly contaminated connector to a clean one - This may transfer contaminants to the clean connector.
