DAP145 - WiFi Access Point, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi 4, RS-485, RMS Integration
The Teltonika DAP145 is a compact industrial wireless access point combining Wi-Fi 4 connectivity with a native RS485 interface. It enables wired serial equipment to communicate with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cloud infrastructures without requiring separate external interface converters. In addition to access point and station operation, the device supports IEEE 802.11s wireless mesh, IEEE 802.11r fast roaming and further features for optimising industrial wireless networks.
The RS485 interface supports two-wire and four-wire connections together with Serial-over-IP and Modbus gateway functionality. Native support for BACnet, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3 and DLMS/COSEM simplifies integration with automation, building management and energy systems. The Data to Server function can forward collected information to central servers and cloud platforms via HTTP(S), MQTT or Azure MQTT.
Two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports provide wired network connectivity. Power can be supplied through the three-pin terminal connector or via passive PoE on the LAN1 port using 9–30 VDC. The passive PoE input is not compatible with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt. Its anodised aluminium enclosure, integrated DIN rail bracket, IP30 rating and −40 °C to +75 °C operating range support reliable deployment in demanding technical environments.
