16-Port Managed Gbit 802.3at POE+ + 4Port Combo Switch/220W
The PLANET GS-4210-16P4C is a rack-mountable L2/L4 managed Gigabit PoE+ switch equipped with 16 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injector functionality and 4 additional Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports. PoE ports 1 to 16 deliver up to 30 W per port, with a total PoE power budget of 240 W. This enables centralized power delivery for multiple powered devices such as IP cameras, access points and VoIP terminals without requiring separate power adapters at the installation point.
With a 40 Gbps non-blocking switching fabric, 29.76 Mpps switching throughput, 16K MAC address table and support for 12K jumbo frames, the switch provides a powerful platform for enterprise data, voice and video networks. The four 100/1000BASE-X SFP slots are shared with ports 17 to 20 and support dual-speed SFP operation including SFP-DDM for monitoring optical transceiver parameters. In PoE Extend mode, power delivery to connected PoE devices can be extended up to 250 m at 10 Mbps duplex operation.
For stable and secure network operation, the GS-4210-16P4C supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, MSTP, LACP, LLDP, IGMP/MLD snooping, QoS, ACL, 802.1X, DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, Dynamic ARP Inspection and ERPS according to ITU-T G.8032. Intelligent PoE functions such as PD Alive Check, scheduled power recycling, PoE scheduling, PoE usage monitoring and PoE extension simplify maintenance, energy management and device availability. Management is available via web, console, Telnet and SNMP, with secure access through SSHv2, TLSv1.2/TLSv1.3 and SNMPv3.
