VIGI 4MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera
The TP-Link VIGI InSight S445 is a professional 4 MP full-color turret network camera delivering a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels. Its 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor is paired with a fast F1.6 fixed-focal lens, available in 2.8 mm or 4 mm versions. The 2.8 mm model provides a 100° horizontal field of view, while the 4 mm version offers 80.4°. At 60 Hz, the camera supports frame rates of up to 30 fps at full 4 MP resolution.
For nighttime surveillance, the camera incorporates four 850 nm IR LEDs and four white LEDs, each providing illumination over distances of up to 30 m. This enables both conventional infrared night vision and full-color nighttime monitoring. Minimum illumination is specified at 0.005 lux, or 0 lux when IR or white-light illumination is enabled. Image enhancement technologies include 120 dB WDR, BLC, HLC, Smart IR, and 3D DNR. When People & Vehicle Analytics is enabled, VIGI specifies DWDR instead of True WDR.
In addition to human and vehicle classification, the InSight S445 provides a broad range of intelligent video analytics. These include intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entering and exiting detection, loitering detection, abandoned object detection, and object removal detection. Abnormal sound detection, scene change detection, and video tampering detection are also supported. Events can trigger local recording, push notifications, audible warnings, or flashing white-light alerts.
A built-in microphone and speaker provide two-way audio as well as active audible deterrence. Main-stream video compression supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264, while the integrated microSD card slot supports local storage capacities of up to 512 GB. ONVIF Profile S support facilitates integration with compatible video management platforms.
Network connectivity is provided through a self-adaptive 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface. Power can be supplied via IEEE 802.3af/at PoE or 12 V DC. The IP67-rated metal enclosure is specified for operating temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C. The InSight S445 therefore combines high-resolution full-color surveillance, intelligent video analytics, and active deterrence in a compact turret camera for professional security installations.
