Wirewin® Outdoor Category 6A patch cables comply with the values specified in ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2. This enables data transmission at 10 Gbit/s. Category 6A is specified at 500 MHz. The cable is double shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, which is covered by additional braided shielding. This design is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made of flexible, UV-resistant PUR material and offers protection against weather, moisture, and mechanical stress. The RJ45 connector with gold-plated contacts and an innovative jack shape protects against mechanical damage while allowing the jack to be pressed easily.
