Wirewin® Industrial Category 6A Patch Cords comply with the values specified in ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2. This enables data transmission at 10 Gbit/s. Category 6A is specified at 500 MHz. The cable is double-shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, which is covered by additional braided shielding. This design is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket is made of flexible, UV-resistant PUR material and offers protection against weather, moisture, and mechanical stress. This makes the patch cables suitable for use in industrial environments.
An IP67-rated grommet is also attached to both sides of the RJ45 connector, making it dustproof and temporarily waterproof. Power over Ethernet (PoE) transmission is also possible. All Wirewin® KAT6A Industrial Patch Cables come with a lifetime warranty!
