The TOUGHpatchcords from the trademark SLIM® are the solution for many problems of structured cabling. Even if they look quite similar to a flat telephone cable, they reach a category 6 performance and are suitable to all 10BASE-T-, 100BASE-TX- und 1000BASE-T applications, including gigabit ethernet. 3 TOUGHpatchcords do have the same diameter as a usual category 6 copper patchcord. Despite the extremely thin design, the cable has a twisting of the individual wire pairs. In addition, it has a wide, flexible latch protection as well as a practical length print on both ends and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE802.3af).
