Sustainability in Practice – Investing in the Future

Since 2021, we have been generating some of our own electricity. With our solar panel system and two electric vehicle charging points, we are investing in modern site infrastructure and efficient energy management.

Sustainability often starts with the small decisions we make in our daily lives. At the same time, long-term investments can also play a significant role in using resources efficiently and managing our own energy requirements more consciously. As a company, we see it as our responsibility to develop our site with a view to the future and to use existing resources as efficiently as possible.

Solar Energy from Our Own Roof

Since 2021, we have been generating part of our electricity directly on-site. A total of 240 photovoltaic modules with a combined output of 100 kWp have been installed on our company building.

In 2025, the system generated 95.5 MWh of electricity, making an important contribution to the energy supply of our headquarters and supporting a responsible use of resources.

The amount of energy generated corresponds to a reduction of approximately 163,348 kg of CO₂ emissions. In comparison, this equals roughly 1.18 million kilometres driven by an average passenger car.

Charging Infrastructure for Everyday Mobility

As part of the continuous development of our site infrastructure, we have also installed two electric vehicle charging stations, each providing 11 kW charging capacity.

These charging points are available for both our electric vehicle fleet and our employees, supporting the growing adoption of electric mobility in everyday business operations.

Investments with Long-Term Benefits

For us, photovoltaic systems and charging infrastructure are not isolated measures, but part of a long-term strategy to further develop our company location. These investments help us use energy more efficiently, support modern mobility concepts, and prepare our infrastructure for future requirements.

We remain committed to continuously improving our facilities in ways that are modern, efficient, and sustainable.
