2.4GHz Sende- und Empfangsverstärker
Der Booster dient zur Erhöhung der Reichweite bei Wireless-LAN Verbindungen. Es werden beide Richtungen verstärkt, sowohl die Sendeleistung als auch die empfangene Leistung. Der eingebaute rauscharme Empfangsverstärker sorgt für eine Anhebung des Empfangspegels von typ. 13 dB, was ausreicht, um die Verluste des nachgeschalteten Koax-kabels zu kompensieren.
Die Stromversorgung (12 VDC) des Boosters erfolgt über das Koaxkabel. Mit DC-Injector, ein 12V-Netzteil wird zusätzlich benötigt, siehe links bei der Beschreibung des Gesamtsystems. Der Booster besitzt ein wetterfestes Kunststoffgehäuse und wird unterhalb der Antenne direkt an den Mast geschraubt, passende rostfreie Hardware wird mitgeliefert. Alle verwendeten Buchsen sind N-Buchsen (female).
Transmit and Receive amplifier for 2,4GHz
This booster is used to extend the range of wireless-LAN connections. It amplifies both directions, the received signal as well as the transmitted signal. The low-noise receive booster raises the received signal by about 13db (typ.) which is sufficient to compensate for cable losses.
The power supply (12VDC) of the booster is done over the coaxial cable (remote supply). A DC injector (aka Bias-T) to inject the 12VDC into the cable is supplied, an additional 12VDC power supply is required (not included). The booster has a weatherproof case which is installed to the mast directly below the antenna, the required stainless steel hardware is included. All connectors are N female.

Depending on the input level this amplifier can emit up to one (1) W HF power. Alone or in conjunction with high-gain antennas the effective radiated power (EIRP) can exceed the max. allowed power in your country. In Austria and most other EU countries max. EIRP is 100mW is allowed.
The CE certification is valid only in conjunction with the other components described in the entire system above
